“I drove eight cars — three were Mercedes Benzs and I had a BMW too.”
Nizar added that after he became the Mentri Besar, his salary barely touched RM15,000 a month.
“Before this, I could have earned at least RM40,000 a month. Plus, I only spent a few hours in the office once a week.
“As Menteri Besar, I worked from 7am to about 2am. But we were willing to relinquish all these pleasures of life because this is not what life is all about,” he said.

semasa jadi professional engineer, er dato seri punya projek mai daripada mana? errr takkan kerajaan BARISAN NASIONAL YANG BAGI...tak nak bagitau mana mai projek tuh?...jangan la cakap ALLAH yang turunkan rezeki, semua orang tau...ngeh ngan nga pun udah pandai mainkan alquran....udah ucap alhamdulillah?
kerja untuk rakyat pun nak ungkit, tun Dr M keroje berapa puluh tahun dengan rakyat dato seri? tak peronah dia cerita pun berapa lama dia dah bekorban masa. Calon BN tuh pun udah puas keroje ngan rakyat...takder pulak berungkit-ungkit!
